PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT NOTE TO UNDERSTAND THE REPORTING PROCESS OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS AND VALID WRITE-IN VOTES IN CLINTON COUNTY:
- These results include ALL absentee ballots cast. DeWitt Township, Victor Township and Watertown Township have established Absent Voter Counting Boards. The results for these precincts are reported under "Absentee Voting Ballots Cast". All other jurisdictions process absentee ballots in the precinct on election day and those votes are included in "Election Day Voting Ballots Cast".
- The total write-in votes cast for valid write-in candidates have been certified. Your name had to be recorded in the race for which you filed your Declaration of Intent to run as a write-in candidate. If your name was written in under any other race, it was not counted as a valid write-in vote.
