Clinton County Zoning Ordinance

Effective: January 1, 2022 
The Clearzoning zoning ordinance is an interactive, user-friendly, understandable document with color graphics, links to key information, and searchable works and terms to quickly access important zoning information.


To establish a one-year moratorium on the issuance of permits, licenses, or approval for, or for any construction of, wind energy conversion systems, MET towers and solar energy facilities, as outlined in the attached ordinance amendment exhibit.
This moratorium only applies to the 11 (General Law) Townships, for which the County completes zoning, and does not apply to individual residential or business solar installations.
