WHILE THE COURTHOUSE/OFFICE IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC AT THIS TIME, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, (INCLUDING THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND PLANNING/ZONING),  WILL BE OPERATING ON A LIMITED AVAILABILITY/STAFFING BASIS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GOVERNOR’S ORDER AND ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OPINION REGARDING ALLOWABLE ACTIVITIES/CONSTRUCTION; (which focuses on critical infrastructure and emergency home repairs).

On-Line Permits



You can now apply and pay on-line for your permits. Online Building permits are for roofing, siding, or windows only.

If you are a contractor, please use the links below.  You must create an account prior to being able to submit applications on-line.

Please Note: As of January 1, 2016, a Contractor Registration Application will be required prior to pulling any permits. A $12.00 application fee will be valid through the anniversary date of your license. The Contractor Registration Form will need to be notarized. There is a $3.00 fee to have the Building Department notarize your application. 

Inspections:

To schedule building, plumbing, mechanical, electrical or soil erosion inspections, you must call our inspection line and leave a message, at 989-224-5183.
