Payment
Payments can be made by cash, money order, cashier's check or credit card. Make cashier checks or money orders payable to 65-A District Court. Process credit card payments by going to Govpaynow.com. Please enter Pay Location Code (PLC) #1919.We do not accept personal checks.

Civil Infractions
If you wish to admit responsibility for the violation, you must submit payment to the Court by mail, in person or online within 10 business days after you receive your ticket. If you wish to admit responsibility with explanation for the violation, you must contact the Court by mail or in person within 10 business days after you receive your ticket. If you are denying responsibility for the violation, you must contact the Court by mail, by phone or in person within 10 business days after you receive your ticket to request a formal or informal hearing.Misdemeanors
Most misdemeanors require a personal appearance for arraignment. If personal appearance is not required, you may plead guilty to the violation by contacting the Court by mail, phone or in person within 10 calendar days after you receive your ticket to obtain the amount of your fine and costs. If you are pleading not guilty for the violation, you must contact the Court by mail, phone or in person within 10 calendar days after you receive your ticket to schedule a pre-trial conference. If personal appearance is required, you must appear at the pre-set date and time noted on your ticket or contact the Court by mail, phone or in person within 10 calendar days after you receive the ticket to obtain a date and time to appear for your arraignment. Cash bonds do not constitute payment and will be forfeited if you fail to appear.
